Amplia Revitalizes El Dorado East Secondary’s Technical Vocational Classroom

At Amplia, we believe in making meaningful contributions that extend beyond technology and connectivity. Guided by our pillars of Education, Connectivity, and Community, we aim to positively impact the lives of those we serve.

As part of this commitment, Amplia seeks to support at least one school each year. In 2025, the focus was on El Dorado East Secondary School, located within our service catchment. The school initially reached out with a request for a television for their Technical Vocational classroom: but Amplia committed to do more.

In partnership with Jus Hurtz Ltd Painting Company, and with the support of 16 volunteers (including teachers and students from the school, members of Jus Hurtz Ltd, and Amplia employees), we transformed the classroom into a modern learning environment. The initiative included refurbishing and repainting the classroom (with paint and tools generously provided by Jus Hurtz Ltd), installing reliable internet service to support digital learning, and equipping the space with air-conditioning to ensure a comfortable and engaging environment.

This project reflects Amplia’s commitment to education and community development, ensuring students have access to the tools and environments they need to thrive in a digital-first world.
