Amplia Business officially introduced SmartBiz at the AMCHAM Tech Hub Islands Summit (T.H.I.S.) 2026, held from June 30 to July 1 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad.

Held under the theme “IMPACT,” the summit brought together business leaders, innovators, policymakers and technology professionals to explore emerging technologies and the opportunities they are creating for businesses across Trinidad and Tobago.

Against this backdrop, Amplia Business unveiled SmartBiz — a managed connectivity solution developed to give small and medium-sized businesses greater control, security and reliability from their business Wi-Fi.

Today, businesses depend on connectivity for much more than browsing the internet. From cloud-based applications and payment systems to security cameras, customer Wi-Fi and connected devices, a reliable network has become central to everyday operations.

SmartBiz is designed with these realities in mind, offering businesses enhanced Wi-Fi coverage, greater network security and the ability to better manage how employees, customers and connected devices access their network.

Throughout the two-day summit, visitors to the Amplia Business booth experienced live demonstrations of SmartBiz and engaged directly with Amplia’s Sales, Marketing, Product and Technical teams.

The event generated quality engagements and qualified business leads, while also providing an opportunity to reconnect with existing Amplia customers and explore their changing connectivity requirements.

More importantly, T.H.I.S. provided a platform for meaningful conversations with local businesses about the challenges they face as their operations become increasingly digital.

The launch of SmartBiz reflects Amplia Business’ continued focus on delivering solutions that go beyond connectivity alone — helping businesses build smarter, safer and more reliable networks that can support them as they grow.

SmartBiz. Stay Connected. Stay Secure. Stay in Control.
